With spring break now over, only a month and a half remains for this semester, meaning that summertime is quickly approaching. With that being said, motivation is at an all time low for me. I have spent the last week being lazy with my toes in the sand and soaking up the Florida sun, and now that I am back to school with a month and a half to get through, my motivation is slacking. So, what can I do to stay motivated and to finish out this semester strong?
- Remember why you are in school: All the hard work you put in now will help you in the future.
- Create new challenges: New challenges can help you stay interested in what you’re doing.
- Set attainable goals: Set small goals that will get you to the final product. This can lessen the stress and allow you to accomplish what you need to do, slowly but surely!
- Acknowledge your accomplishments: Give yourself a quick reward when you complete an assignment or task. Take a walk, send an email, get a snack — whatever works for you. Then move on to the next project.
